Over the years York-Med became known as the billing experts for Ontario and Physicians made Medical Desktop the most popular billing/scheduling solution for Ontario Providers.  In the late 1990's York-Med began to add to their list of offerings by playing a major role in some of the initial electronic physician office pilot projects in Ontario (COMPETE, Chatham Kent's Hosted Solution, & the transition of Ontario Health Centres from paper to computerized medical records).
